The final rankings reflect the opinions of nearly 350 investment professionals at more than 240 institutions that oversee an estimated $208bn in Russian equity and fixed-income assets.
In the individual rankings, VTB Capital analysts took 14 top places, including six number one spots. According to the 2014 Institutional Investor survey, VTB Capital analysts have become leaders in the following categories:

- 1st place – Consumer
- 1st place – Telecoms
- 1st place – Utilities
- 1st place – Corporate Debt
- 1st place – Fixed-Income Strategy
- 2nd place – Oil & Gas
- 3rd place – Equity Strategy
- 3rd place – Real Estate
