Bundesliga transfer latest: Aubameyang seeking Dortmund exit

Weserstadion - Werder Bremen

All the latest summer transfer news from the Bundesliga...

Despite only moving from St. Etienne to Borussia Dortmund a year ago, forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked with a move away from the club this summer. The Gabon international has been suggested as a potential target for both Newcastle United and Serie A side Roma, and his agent Oscar Damiani has admitted that his client would be interested in a move away from Germany, particularly back to Italy having previously played for AC Milan.

"[AS Roma Sporting Director Walter] Sabatini likes him, but it would be very difficult to lure him away from Borussia Dortmund because he has a long contract," said Damiani. "However, he would like to return to Italy."

Schalke are reportedly looking to sign a striker this summer, and have now been strongly linked with a move to sign Marseille's Jordan Ayew. The youngster is currently playing for Ghana at the World Cup in Brazil, and having impressed with Sochaux during a loan spell last season, Ayew is attracting admirers.

With Marseille in some financial difficulty and needing to sell players, Bundesliga outfit Schalke are now looking to add the Ghanaian to his international team mate Kevin-Prince Boateng in Gelsenkirchen.

Meanwhile, Werder Bremen have moved to sign Rafet Husic from Bayern Munich. The young goalkeeper, 18, has been playing for Bayern's reserves but has now signed his first professional deal with Bremen, and the shot stopper was delighted to have made the move.

"It’s a really, really great feeling to be here and to have signed my first professional contract," he told Werder’s official website. "I am very much looking forward to the task with Werder Bremen."
