Midfield star Ander Herrera already has happy memories of his only visit to Old Trafford, when he emerged on the winning side in a Europa League encounter three seasons ago.
He is also positive about playing alongside two Manchester United stars, David de Gea and Juan Mata, who he would link up with if he seals his €36 million transfer.
Herrera was part of the Spanish under-21 team which featured both, and won the European under-21 Championship in 2011, scoring in the final.
He said after the tournament, telling UEFA.org: "To play with the best Under-21 players in the country, share so many experiences and then actually win it creates a special bond between us.
"When you play with them, it's just an incredible memory. They are very nice moments that we enjoyed and, above all, we played fantastic football."
It's logical the midfielder will have kept in touch with both stars, and will see their presence at United as a big positive in making the move, knowing they will help him settle in.
He will know all about the quality Juan Mata brings, having played in the same midfield, with Mata a key part of the tournament winning side, along with Thiago Alcantara and Javi Martinez.
Herrera even played against Danny Welbeck, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones during the tournament in the 1-1 draw with England, in which he scored, and Welbeck hit England's equaliser.
