Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: Spurs eye £6m Origi, ready to move on Lovren deal?

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

The Mirror claims Tottenham have been watching Belgium World Cup star Divock Origi ‘for months’.

The Lille star scored the winner for his country against Russia to put them through to the next round of the tournament in Brazil.

Rated at £6 million, the 19-year-old could be a worthwhile gamble for the White Hart Lane club to go after.

The Daily Star has suggested Tottenham will attempt to hijack Liverpool’s deal for Southampton defender Dejan Lovren.

Lovren has been strongly linked with an Anfield switch over the last couple of weeks but Mauricio Pochettino appears keen on moving for his former player.

However, with Tottenham already owning four centre-backs, someone is likely to make way if the deal goes through.

The Mirror also claims that centre-back could be Michael Dawson with Hull City thought to be mulling over a move.

Dawson is one of Tottenham’s most experienced players and a leader in the back four.

Hull bought Tom Huddlestone from Spurs last summer and the paper claims they are closing on a permanent deal for Jake Livermore.
