We bring you all the biggest news involving the clubs in the Midlands that has broken in the last 24 hours.
1) Stoke City in for Michu
According to the Sentinel, Stoke City are lining up a bid for Swansea City star Michu.
At the back-end of the 2012/13 campaign Michu was one of the hottest properties in the Premier League, but his injury-blighted season last year seems to have lessened his reputation somewhat.
Stoke are now hoping they will be able to take advantage of this and secure a deal to bring the Spaniard to the Britannia Stadium, in what would be one of the summer’s biggest transfer coups.
Pelle currently plays for Feyenoord in the Eredivisie and he has been the subject of much interest from Premier League clubs this summer.
Southampton and Leicester are reportedly battling with five other English top-flight clubs to sign the striker, including Everton and QPR.
Pelle notched 23 times in 28 appearances last season, but Leicester will now have to break their transfer record if they are to get their man.
3) West Brom want Victor Moses on loan
West Bromwich Albion are lining up a loan move for Chelsea winger Victor Moses, according to the Express and Star.
Moses spent last season on loan at Liverpool, in an unsuccessful spell, and it is thought that Jose Mourinho will allow him to leave Stamford Bridge on a temporary basis again this summer.
He is now of interest to Baggies as they look to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season, to ensure they improve on last season’s disappointing showing.
4) Jack Grealish wants Villa contract extension
Aston Villa prospect Jack Grealish is hoping to discuss a new long-term deal at the club.
Grealish is considered one of the best talents to come through Villa’s youth-academy in some time and the winger now wants a deal to give him further security.
The 18-year-old’s contract expires at the end of this season and both he and the club are keen to ensure that he doesn’t become a free-agent.
Grealish spent last season out on loan at Notts County, where he was one of League One’s best players.
5) Gary Rowett prepared to wait on Zeli Ismail
Burton Albion manager is prepared to wait on Wolves’ decision regarding Zeli Ismail’s future at Molinuex.
Ismail spent last season on loan at Burton, where he was one of the League Two team’s stars, and Rowett has admitted to being interested in bringing the winger back to the club on a permanent basis.
However, Wolves are thought to be keen to give Ismail a chance to impress and Rowett admits that Burton may have to play the waiting game on his availability.
“We’ve made it clear we are interested,” Rowett said to the Burton Mail.
“The issue is that they’ll always want to get him back and see how he’s improved and if they want to send him out again.
“He’s certainly a player we’d love to have back, but I’m sure after some of his performances for us, we won’t be the only club interested.”
