The German marque dominated the event, with their works team first and second thanks to Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton and their engine customers Williams third and fourth. Mercedes-powered cars also took sixth, seventh and ninth to complete a stellar showing.
And they have not wasted the opportunity to score PR points over rivals Red Bull Racing, whose parent company owns the Red Bull Ring circuit. Their best finisher was Daniel Ricciardo in eighth, while Sebastian Vettel and the sister Toro Rosso cars all retired from the event.
That spawned the above advert, which pokes fun at Red Bull's "gives you wings" corporate slogan. What's more, Mercedes team members hung their company's badge on the circuit's giant bull sculpture, as seen in the tweet below.
Mercedes currently top the Formula One constructors' world championship with 301 points, more than double that of second-placed Red Bull.
