A selection of the latest transfer stories and more involving Tottenham Hotspur this Monday evening.
Reported Tottenham target John O'Shea has said he is more than happy to stay at his current club Sunderland, after reports emerged last week of a £3 million offer made for the defender.
The Shields Gazette has picked up on quotes from O'Shea in the Irish press, where the 33-year-old said:
“That’s the way it goes at this time of the year, there is lots of stuff rumoured about players coming and going.
“It’s just one of those things. It’s just total speculation.
“I’m in the game long enough to know that and I’m more than happy with Sunderland.”
The Telegraph reports that Origi's club, Lille, do not want to sell the striker who has made an impressive impact in both games for Belgium from the bench - helping them qualify for the knockout stages of the World Cup with a game to spare.
The Standard cites Liverpool as a potential competitor and says that Mauricio Pochettino is prepared to offload forwards Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado this summer.
It's reported that Livermore was due for a medical at the KC Stadium today.
Despite being linked with a possible move away from White Hart Lane, Emmanuel Adebayor has been talking to the Tottenham website about the season ahead, and he believes the side is improving.
He's quoted saying:“A lot of the lads will have a season under their belts and now have more experience.
“We are improving as a team and starting to control games. Next season can only be better.”
