Arsenal legend Ian Wright said he was disappointed with the performance of Oscar against Cameroon.
Brazil ran out comfortable winners against a poor Cameroon side in their final Group A game, with Neymar stealing the show.
The Selecao booked a knockout round clash against a dangerous Chile side, but avoided Netherlands in the process.
Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho impressed with his second half showing in the place of Paulinho, with Chelsea playmaker Oscar overshadowed.
ITV pundit Ian Wright was not very impressed with him, and argued Neymar's star role could have had a diminishing effect on Oscar.
He said: "I dont think he played too well. Maybe the emergence of Neymar has made him go into his shell a little bit. They (Brazil) need to liven up a bit."

Oscar lit up the opening game for Brazil and even scored a goal to round off their 3-1 win.
Against Croatia he was a key cog in their attack, with the majority of Brazil's best play running through him. Over the past two games he has played just one successful pass into the opposition penalty box, creating just the single chance.
With Chelsea teammate Willian looking lively after coming on, Oscar's place in the side is not automatically guaranteed, although it's likely he will retain his position for the second round.
However Brazil will not be afforded the same space against Chile as they were by Cameroon, and Oscar will have to lift his game and re-produce the same performance he did against Croatia if the Selecao are to stand a strong chance of progressing.
