‘We may consider a permanent transfer if the price is right,’ - Bruma on the move?

Galatasaray may be willing to sell their winger Bruma if the right offer came along, which could be good news for reported suitors Chelsea.

Reported Chelsea target Bruma could be on the move after the president of his current club Galatasaray was quoted as saying a permanent transfer was a possibility.

Turkishfootball.com has quoted Unal Aysal as saying the following to Turkish newspaper Bugun: “We are not interested in loaning Bruma; we may consider a permanent transfer if the price is right.”

The Portuguese winger was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea last year, with many reports in his homeland claiming it was only a matter of time before he arrived at Stamford Bridge. One report from England even claimed Bruma had begged his then-side Sporting Lisbon to allow him to join the Blues.

But ultimately – and somewhat surprisingly – the teenager instead completed a £10million move to Galatasaray, where he started well before suffering a knee ligament injury that robbed him of the majority of the campaign.

It had been suggested earlier this summer that Bruma could be set for a move, with Chelsea again being linked along with Everton, and the latest quotes appear to have made that scenario far more likely.

While the player has endured a difficult campaign his talent is undeniable, and a player previously hailed as “the next Cristiano Ronaldo” could still prove to be an outstanding signing should Chelsea opt to make their move.

He will certainly not come cheap, with his length of contract and talent ensuring Galatasaray are likely to ask for far more than the £10million they paid for him.

But if Chelsea remain interested in a player who could go grow into one of Europe’s most exciting wide-men, they appear to have been given the green-light by his current club.
