Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Swansea City feature.
Transfer Clock: Eight days until the Transfer Window opens... Here are the latest stories you need to know:
Liverpool linked with Falcao?
Colombian striker Radamel Falcao is touted as a shock transfer option for Liverpool, in addition to title rivals Chelsea and Tottenham. The striker, write The Mirror, is keen to quit Monaco, with the paper claiming: "Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea are likely to be sounded out about the 28-year-old, who scored nine times in 16 appearances following a £52million move from Atletico Madrid before suffering a season-ending knee injury in January."
Liverpool would have to break their transfer record to sign the striker, who is also a reported target for Real Madrid, with his believed to be his preference. The finances involved would make Liverpool clear outsiders to win the race for his signature, unless they had cash available from deciding to sell a certain striker of their own.
Tottenham and QPR threaten Arsenal deal
Arsenal remain linked with Ivory Coast right-back Serge Aurier, yet are not going to have it all their own way. The Mail report that Aurier is on the radar of their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, stating they are 'showing interest'. QPR have also reportedly enquired with Toulouse, but are expected to find the £7 million price tag too much.
Tottenham moving for Aurier would ask questions of Kyle Walker, but with back-up Kyle Naughton keen to leave to play first team football, Spurs could be eyeing him as cover for the right-back spot. Aurier is a big Arsenal fan however, and has been pictured on his social media pages in the past wearing a Gunners shirt.
Astori in, Dawson out at Tottenham?
More rumour surrounding White Hart Lane...Tottenham want to sign Davide Astori from Cagliari, claim The Mirror, in a deal which could cost in the region of £10 million. Italian centre-back Astori has been linked with Manchester United and Southampton over the past year, and the appointment of Saints manager Mauricio Pochettino suggests a natural link. He would replace Michael Dawson, who the same paper report is a £4 million transfer target for Hull City.
Swansea to beat Newcastle to Gomis?
After Newcastle United were rumoured to be close to agreeing a deal for Bafetimbi Gomis, it appears now Swansea City are frontrunners. The striker is set to become a free agent at the end of the month after allowing his deal with Lyon to expire, and any move to Swansea will increase speculation they could cash in on Wilfried Bony. QPR and Sunderland are also interested, but The Mail claim Gomis is in Wales, and Swansea are willing to match his £70,000 per week wage demands.
