Set traps and play as females in latest Sunset TV vid

Sunset Overdrive Sunset TV Female Character Screen 1

A playable female character is shown in Sunset Overdrive dressed in Assassin's Creed garb, as Insomniac Games confirm female characters are available.

With all the debate and controversy surrounding the availability of female characters in games, the latest episode of Sunset TV for Insomniac Games’ Sunset Overdrive is a breath of fresh air.

Answering a question about whether you can play as a female character, Insomniac Games community manager Brandon Winfrey stated, “Of course. Self-expression is super important to us,” and he continued by saying, “so you can be female, you can be male, you can be different skin tones, you can be different body types. And all the clothing is gender-neutral, so if you want to be a dude in a skirt, you can be a dude in a skirt.” Excellent!

Take a look at the latest Sunset TV video below to see more info on the trap system. A playable female character is also shown, whilst dressed very much like an assassin from Assassin’s Creed, which is quite the jibe, considering Ubisoft confirmed female characters won’t be available in Assassin Creed Unity and where a lot of the controversy has originated from since E3.
