All the latest NBA rumor relating to the Miami Heat.
The present situation regarding Miami's 'big three' after their Championship loss has been well documented. Le Bron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh have the option to opt out of their contracts and become free agents, or re-negotiate to help the team sign another big name.
It leaves the team in a state of flux which that plays out over the next fortnight, which has also led to plenty of rumor. The big name linked, repeatedly, is New York Knicks free agent Carmelo Anthony.
But who beyond that may be incoming? Here's a look at what is presently making the headlines...
Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry is one of the most highly rated free agents around, coming off the back of a consistent season. He was recently linked with the Heat by ESPN’s Brian Windhorst. Lowry has been ranked by many analysts as among the top 10 players available in free agency, and HITC writer Matthew Graham believes if he moves to Miami he will constitute part of a 'big four', if Wade, James and Bosh all stay.
Another top rated free agent this summer is former Chicago Bull, Luol Deng. The Brit is not expected to return to Cleveland, and has been linked with the Lakers and most prominently the Dallas Mavericks. Steve Kyler of BasketballInsiders wrote this week on Twitter that Miami are considering him as a 'next best option' if they miss out on Carmelo Anthony.

NBA writer Chuck Myron has touted Eric Bledsoe as a possible addition in Miami. It is not lost that Bledsoe shares the same agent as LeBron James and the possibility may well have been discussed. The Phoenix Suns are keen to keep him however, stating they will match any offer he receives. Bledsoe would be a clear upgrade on Mario Chalmers, and if Miami can put together a tempting enough package they may be able to work out a deal, even if they have to negotiate with the Suns to be able to offer something in return.
