Balotelli scored the winning header against England on Saturday and the Three Lions followed that disappointment with a second 2-1 defeat in less than a week as Luis Suarez inspired Uruguay to victory in Sao Paulo.
England are left at the bottom of Group D without a point and are relying on The Azzurri to win both of their remaining matches to even stand a chance.
If the Italians beat Costa Rica tomorrow and then Uruguay on Tuesday, England will need to record a convincing win against the Costa Ricans in the final group game to progress into the knockout stages.
No side in history has lost their opening two games in the group stages and progressed into the next round and Roy Hodgson's side's need Mario Balotelli and his Italy teammates to give them a chance.
The former Manchester City striker endured three well publicised years in England before moving back to Italy with AC Milan in January 2013.
Despite the controversies that have surrounded "Super Mario", the 23-year-old is ready to help England by beating Costa Rica, but he wants a kiss from Queen Elizabeth if he helps the Three Lions.
If we beat Costa Rica i want a kiss, obviously on the cheek, from the UK Queen.— Mario Balotelli (@FinallyMario) June 19, 2014
The striker took to Twitter after England's defeat against Uruguay and stated: "If we [Italy] beat Costa Rica I want a kiss, obviously on the cheek, from the UK Queen."
Balotelli was quick to point out than any kiss would have to be "on the cheek" as the newly-engaged man would not want to anger fiancée Fanny Neguesha.
His Tweet was retweeted over 100,000 times in just over an hour and "UK Queen" became a worldwide trending topic on the social network.
Her Majesty would want to see Italy beat Uruguay as well as Costa Rica before she would even consider responding to Balotelli's bargain but it would all appear to be a longshot for the forward, and England.
Can England pull off a World Cup miracle?
