All the latest transfer news and gossip from The Emirates.

Arsenal are being linked with a shock move for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic this morning. The Metro report that The Gunners are eyeing up the Blues defender as a potential Thomas Vermaelen and Bacary Sagna replacement.

Vermaelen is said to be on the way to Manchester United, while Bacary Sagna has already agreed a deal to join United's rivals Manchester City on a free transfer.

Ivanovic would provide cover at both right and centre back and is reportedly available for a fee in the region of £7 million. However, Chelsea are unlikely to sell the 30-year-old defender.

Chilean World Cup star Mauricio Isla is also being linked with an Arsenal move this summer. The Gunners and Liverpool are said to be keen on the Juventus player - who has been one of the stars i Brazil for the impressive Chileans.

The 26-year-old can operate at both right-back and holding midfield so would be a good option for the Gunners who need cover in both areas of the pitch.

Arsenal are also being linked with a move for Mario Balotelli at the moment and it is believed AC Milan could be interested in a sale. However, cash won't do the job. The Rossoneri would like to receive Costa Rican star Joel Campbell as part of any deal involving the Italian international.

Arsenal are reportedly ready to make the former Manchester City player their highest paid player this summer.
