Manchester United transfer news: Kroos deal still on, Dutchman drops transfer hint

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Manchester United.

Toni Kroos has confirmed he’s no nearer to a new contract with Bayern Munich.

Philipp Lahm and Thomas Muller recently signed new deals with the club but they’re yet to offer Kroos the terms that he feels he deserves.

“There’s nothing new to report. With respect to the time before the World Cup, nothing at all has changed,” he told the press.

Netherlands midfielder Wesley Sneijder has opened the door on a move to Manchester United.

The player has admitted that if United made a move for him under Louis van Gaal, it would be difficult for him to turn down.

“In the Netherlands, Van Gaal is something like the head teacher of a school - if Van Gaal were to make me an offer, I would have to at least consider it. Nobody from the Netherlands can simply reject Van Gaal,” he’s quoted by the Metro.

Alexander Buttner has moved closer to a switch to Russian football with Dynamo Moscow.

The left-back struggled to break into the first team at United under Sir Alex Ferguson or David Moyes.

Buttner has said he doesn’t feel as though he’ll get a chance under van Gaal at United, hence the move.
