Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: Serie A blow for Pochettino, time for Blind move?

A round up of transfer stories about Tottenham Hotspur this morning.

Spurs have been delivered a transfer blow with the news that Napoli striker Goran Pandev wants to see out his contract at the club.

He was linked with a potential move to Spurs throughout May but is now unlikely to leave Serie A.

“The idea has been to end his career at Napoli, but if things change, he might consider a move abroad. However, the team have not called me and this bodes well,” his agent told Radio CRC.

The Express claims Liverpool have already started talks over a deal to sign Dutch left-back Daley Blind.

Blind has been linked with Manchester United and Tottenham are an option as Mauricio Pochettino needs a new left-back for next season.

Dutch press reports have suggested that German giants Borussia Dortmund are also interested in doing a deal for him.

Tottenham are reportedly one of the clubs in the race to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian forward has frequently been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge as he looks to kick-start his senior career.

However, reports have suggested that Chelsea will ask for a fee of around £34 million, which may be too much for Spurs to stretch to.
