Arsenal target Karim Benzema has insisted he can still improve. The Real Madrid striker has been heavily linked with a summer move to the London club and is putting himself in the shop window after his scintillating performance against Honduras on Sunday.
Speaking after the match, Benzema stated, "I think I can still improve, I am indeed in good shape. We need to make the most of it, I feel confident and I was spared any injuries".
France will be delighted with their strikers work as he contributed two goals and could have had a hat-trick but the Honduras goalkeeper,Valladares saw the Frenchman's effort rebound off him into the net.
Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger will be watching the Real Madrid strikers movement with anticipation as he looks to draft in a big name striker to aid their lack of options in the forward department.
If Benzema were to join the Gunners, he would combine with fellow France striker and team-mate, Olivier Giroud. A mouth-watering combination for the Premier League outfit that could have real potential. Arsenal fans will be eager to see the two play together and witness what could be their new strike partnership come next season.
As for now, Benzema is concentrating on the World Cup and has made it abundantly clear, "I am there 100%, I can give everything on the pitch".
Benzema is ready to continue where he left off.
