Manchester United transfer news: Januzaj offers to be rejected, Feyenoord want de Vrij deal

A round up of transfer stories about Manchester United this morning.

The Daily Mail claims Manchester United will reject any attempts from Real Madrid to sign Adnan Januzaj.

The Belgian winger has been linked with a high profile switch to La Liga despite only just signing a long term contract with United.

Januzaj reportedly wants a chance to impress United boss Louis van Gaal when he officially takes over at the club.

Feyenoord reportedly want to try and do a deal with Manchester United for defender Stefan de Vrij.

The centre-back is one of several Dutch players to be linked with an Old Trafford move since Louis van Gaal was confirmed as the club’s new coach.

Reports from Italy have suggested that the Dutch club want to get as high a fee as possible for the player to reinvest.

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour doesn’t think the Gunners will block Manchester United attempts to sign Thomas Vermaelen.

Several sources linked the Belgian centre-back with a move to United earlier this week, with some suggesting a deal had already been agreed.

“I f he wants to play football, and an offer comes in from a club like Manchester United, then it’s hard for the club to say, ‘no, you can’t go there, we want to sell you to a club in Italy or Spain,” he told talkSPORT.
