Manchester United wonderkid subject of unexpected reports.
Adnan Januzaj hopes to make his World Cup bow from Belgium against Algeria tonight, but only after a round of bizarre speculation over his future.
Spanish newspaper AS splash on the top story of their website that Adnan Januzaj is 'in the orbit' of Real Madrid, with a €41 million bid being speculated on.
They cite The Mirror as their source, yet a look at The Mirror - sees they are reporting the rumour, but crediting Spanish sources as theirs.
The Mirror write: "Such is their admiration for the fleet-footed winger they could offer as much as £33m for him, the paper report."
They cite their source as Spanish newspaper Marca, whose story is yet to appear on their website.
This is a game of Chinese whispers which ends one way, with Januzaj staying at Manchester United.
The teenager signed a new contract just last October for five years, and is enjoying being a prominent figure at Old Trafford.
Madrid's interest in his precious talent may be understandable, but United have no desire to, nor need to sell, and this is one rumour which belongs in the Transfer Bin.
