Arsenal and Chelsea in link with Radamel Falcao?
The Metro report Arsenal are one of the sides linked with Radamel Falcao along with long-standing admirers Chelsea.
The paper claim Monaco are open to offers, due to the Colombian not being in the plans of newly appointed manager Leandro Jardim.
Falcao is a striker well worth taking the risk on despite his knee injury, regarded as one of the world's best.
Intriguingly for Arsenal, he is sponsored by Puma, who begin their partnership with the Gunners this coming season.
Chelsea close on Filipe Luis and Diego Costa
Chelsea's need to sign Falcao is diminishing, with Diego Costa nearing completing his switch from Atletico Madrid.
Costa told Goal, com: "Why have I chosen to play for Chelsea? It is something that is about to happen. Things are moving in a certain direction, and if they keep moving forward, I will be playing for them next season."
The Stamford Bridge side are nearing a deal for his teammate, left-back Filipe Luis, as stated by respected Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio on Twitter:
Confirmed that Filipe luis will join @chelseafc, that is going to pay the exit clause (€25M)— Gianluca Di Marzio (@DiMarzio) June 16, 2014
Liverpool find Alberto Moreno alternative?
Liverpool are being linked with Switzerland international left-back Ricardo Rodriguez.
Rodriguez is valued at around £20 million, but the Reds will hope to pay less than that considering they are unwilling to meet that fee for Moreno.
The fact he is younger, 20, may work in their favour, but his exploits at the World Cup, creating two goals in Switzerland's win over Ecuador could work against them.

Vermaelen to Manchester United?
The Telegraph have reported that Thomas Vermaelen has agreed terms on a £100,000 per week deal, and link up with former Arsenal teammate Robin van Persie at Manchester United.
The centre-back has been third choice at the Gunners, although retains the captaincy, and is expected to move on this summer.
His agent has however denied a deal is close to being telling the BBC: "No deal is in place with United or any other club."
