As Belgium prepare for their first World Cup match for 12 years, they were greeted by a familiar face as former World Cup winner Rivaldo joined up with the players.
The former Brazilian international superstar is arguably one of the greatest No.10’s his career, a role which Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Man United’s Adnan Januzaj can both occupy for their respective clubs.
19-year-old Man United playmaker Adnan Januzaj, on the other hand, had huge question marks over his international allegiance. The Red Devils starlet had multiple choices, yet opted for Belgium only last month and made his official debut during the recent 1-0 friendly win over Tunisia.

As for the special guest Rivaldo, the former Corinthians star had an illustrious career, representing Barcelona for five years and Milan for a short period, winning Spain’s La Liga twice and the Champions League with the Italians.
His international career was also a huge success, as he made 74 appearances for the World Cup’s host nation, winning the tournament in Japan and South Korea in 2002, though not before his controversial playacting which resulted in Turkey’s Hakan Unsal receiving a red card.
The 42-year-old has since hung up his boots, and speaking with the Belgian national team, star attacking players such as Eden Hazard, Adnan Januzaj, Romelu Lukaku and Dries Mertens will be hoping to pick up as much advice as possible ahead of their opener against Algeria next Tuesday.
