Jose Pekerman's side are considered as one of the dark horses for the World Cup, and whilst Falcao's injury had damaged that notion, they certainly lived up to their billing today with a comfortable 3-0 over Greece. Goals from Pablo Armero, Teofilo Gutierrez and Rodriguez notched up three points, taking them to the top of Group C - but it was the latter who stole the show with an impressive display.
The Monaco playmaker has had a burgeoning reputation ever since his time with Porto, and fans got to see just what the 22-year-old can do as he was bright throughout, taking on players at will before delivering the killer blow in stoppage time to hand Colombia three points.
Recent speculation has once again linked Rodriguez with a move to Manchester United, who were believed to be interested whilst he was with Porto. Louis van Gaal's men are in desperate need of quality out wide, and landing Rodriguez would be a huge addition for the Red Devils.
United fans were clearly impressed with his display, and took to Twitter to voice their approval. Here is a selection of the tweets posted by United fans on the Colombian star.
