I am casting my eye back to this exact day, the 13th June 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 13th June 2013…
£9 mil for Min
A year ago today and Arsenal and Liverpool were reportedly given an asking price for the Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. The stopper had been in sensational form for Sunderland the year before and was ready to move on to play at a higher level.
The price was said to be £9 million - and that did indeed prove to be the point. Liverpool snapped him up for that fee two weeks later, leaving Arsenal looking on from afar.
But Mignolet had a topsy-turvy campaign, and Brendan Rodgers is said to be considering bringing in another stopper to challenge him for the number one spot.
In realtime, yesterday saw Chelsea sign Cesc Fabregas, a year ago today they snapped up a big signing once again.
The long-protracted deal for Andre Schurrle of Bayer Leverkusen was finally completed. The German international signed for the club for a fee of £18 million after being scouted for over a year.
He became Jose Mourinho's first signing of his second term at Stamford Bridge. Schurrle has since gone on to have a solid first campaign with The Blues - and will want to push on to become a regular next season.
Manchester United were ready to flog Nani ... apparently. The Portuguese winger had fallen foul of Sir Alex Ferguson and was out of contract in 12 months.
Juventus, Arsenal and Inter Milan were being linked with his signature and it seemed as though he was off.
However he ended up signing a new deal, and is still clogging up the wage-bill at Old Trafford.
