I am casting my eye back to this exact day, the 12th June 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 12th June 2013…
Zaha not wanted
Wilfried Zaha was rejected by Arsenal according to a report a year ago today. The then Crystal Palace winger was one of the most wanted players in English football at the time - eventually agreeing a move to join Manchester United.
But Arsenal were the preferred destination of The Eagles - with chairman Ron Noades stating:
"When Steve Parish sold Zaha I was mildly involved in it as I tried to get Arsenal to buy him, but they were not interested. I spoke to David Dein as I did not want Zaha to go to Manchester United, I wanted him to stay in London."
Zaha has since struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford - with next season pivotal in his future.
My way or the high way
It was suggested that the 'my way or the highway' approach was due to Luiz's swashbuckling approach to defending.
A year later and it seems that Luiz did not do as he was asked. He has been sold to Paris Saint-Germain - a deal that kicks into action when the Transfer Window reopens.
Garay to United 'done'
Manchester United had reportedly 'agreed to buy' Ezequiel Garay from Benfica. The Argentine international had just come off the back of an exceptional season in Lisbon and United had been linked with his signature for several years.
The £17 million rated star never did make the move however. He has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Zenit St Petersburg this summer - although remains a Benfica player.
