Cesc Fabregas' transfer to Chelsea is now official and those associated with Arsenal are not best pleased.
The Gunners passed up the option to bring back the Spanish international, to split opinions from fans.
One former Arsenal youngster unimpressed with the decision was winger Anthony Jeffrey, most recently of Wycombe Wanderers.
Cesc signed for Chelsea ? I don't feel well at all— AJ (@AnthonyJeffrey7) June 12, 2014
Jeffrey left Arsenal in January having been in the academy since he was just eight.
His views on Cesc's transfer were echoed by countless supporters, and are likely even more relevant because for a player like him in Arsenal's youth system, Fabregas would have been an idol.
While bought from Barcelona in his mid-teens, Cesc's quick transition into Arsenal's first team inspired young players to follow, and even have a long line from La Masia.
Fran Merida, Ignasi Miquel, Jon Toral, Hector Bellerin, and most recently Julio Pleguezuelo followed Fabregas fro Barcelona to Arsenal, with the latter stating in an interview last month that it was Cesc's original move which inspired him.
For Toral, Bellerin and Pleguezuelo who are still at Arsenal, seeing Fabregas return could have been hugely inspiring.
Now it's pretty likely they all feel the same way as Anthony Jeffrey.
