In demand striker Luis Suarez has received the unanimous backing of his nation in his progressive come-back from injury. The Uruguayan is a feared individual and group-rivals: England, Costa-Rica and Italy will be hoping the Liverpool man is sidelined.
However, the Uruguay team have offered their verbal support to Suarez who is facing a battle against time to recover in time for their first group-stage match against Costa-Rica.
Midfielder, Cristian Rodriguez has revealed that all the Uruguayan team are willing the striker back, including the staff. "Yes, Suarez wants to be there, he is very focused on it, just as are the doctors that are helping in".
Suarez is renown for his work-ethic and Rodriguez hinted that the Premier League man has been working even harder to make sure he is fit for the World Cup, "And as I said before, he is doing things very well; working in double and triple shifts and that is very good and we hope to have him with us soon".
