Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: Pochettino eyes first signing, drops hint over Lamela's future

A round up of transfer stories about Tottenham Hotspur this morning.

The Daily Star has suggested that Napoli midfielder Blerim Dzemaili could become Mauricio Pochettino’s first signing at the club.

The rumour mill has been working over time since the Argentine was appointed to replace former head coach Tim Sherwood.

However, Napoli may try and push to get Spurs star Sandro included in the same deal.

Pochettino has also shown his hand with regards to the underperforming Erik Lamela.

The £30 million signing from Roma failed to make much of an impact in his first season at White Hart Lane last year.

However, Pochettino has blocked an attempt from Serie A champions Juventus to sign Lamela, which suggests they are planning to use him.

Tottenham have reportedly agreed a deal to sign striker Loic Remy from queens Park Rangers.

The Championship star was on loan at Newcastle United last season and has admitted he wants a high profile move away.

However, reports suggest that he could turn his back on any agreement with Tottenham if he gets the chance to talk to local rivals Arsenal.
