Real Sociedad have moved to announce that they have received no bids for French international winger Antoine Griezmann.
Griezmann, 23, has enjoyed his best season to date in Spain, racking up 16 goals and three assists as he established himself as one of the most promising wingers in Europe. In fact, Griezmann's displays have led to a call-up to France's World Cup squad for the tournament this summer, and with Franck Ribery out injured, he's expected to play a big part under Didier Deschamps.
Whilst his focus will be on impressing in Brazil, Griezmann looks set to have a decision to make over his future after the World Cup. His superb performances for Sociedad have now attracted interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain - as well as Premier League sides Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.
Yet despite the growing interest in Griezmann's services, Sociedad have moved to deny that any team has made a bid to sign him this summer.
"I will not comment on whether we have received an offer for Griezmman or not because it's commenting on hypothesis," said president Jokin Aperribay, "If an offer arrives we will talk about it, but at the moment there is nothing concrete."
Teams may be waiting to see how Griezmann performs at the World Cup before working out what is expected to be well over £20m to sign him, but the Frenchman looks set to leave San Sebastian at some point the near future.
Arsenal are desperate for attacking reinforcements whether on the flanks or at centre forward, whilst Liverpool have been searching for a winger for some time having missed out on the signing of Willian, Mohamed Salah and Yevhen Konoplyanka. Additionally, United have endured the poor displays of Nani, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young for too long and new boss Louis van Gaal has to bring in another wide man this summer - which could well be Griezmann.
