Suso Liverpool

A selection of the latest transfer stories and more involving Liverpool Football this Wednesday morning.

Young Liverpool midfielder Suso has hinted that he could leave Anfield if he isn’t given more first team action according to the Daily Mail.

Portuguese newspaper O Jogo linked him with a move to Porto two days ago. The Spaniard spent last season on loan from Anfield at La Liga side Almeria, who managed to avoid relegation.

20-year-old Suso is quoted saying he would like to stay at Anfield.

He said: “Porto are the best club in Portugal and they have faith in their youngsters. They also have a coach I like working with [Julen Lopetegui].

“I will only renew with Liverpool if I’m guaranteed I’ll play regularly. The option is clear if I don’t renew: let me leave.

“I think Liverpool thinks the same. They won’t let me leave on a free in a year if I don’t renew. Let’s see what happens.”

The Mail is also reporting that Liverpool have been monitoring Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Karl Darlow, but are likely to face stiff competition from Tottenham if they are going to sign him.

The Liverpool Echo is reporting that young striker Samed Yesil is likely to leave, possibly on loan, with last summer's signing Luis Alberto also likely to be loaned out.

The club are also said to listen to offers for Iago Aspas, Oussama Assaidi, Conor Coady and Jack Robinson.

Away from transfers, there are plenty of stories involving Liverpool players at the World Cup. Raheem Sterling could be in line for an England start against Italy after Manchester United’s Danny Welbeck picked up an injury in training, according to a lot of national newspapers.

Striker Luis Suarez is happy with his recovery from a knee injury, but the Reds’ Ivory Coast defender Kolo Toure has managed to recover from Malaria.

Toure is quoted in FourFourTwo, saying: “I’m absolutely fine because my body is used to that kind of sickness, it’s not the first time and it won’t be the last time.”
