European transfer-talk: Featuring Rakitic, Menez and Kroos

Ivan Rakitic

Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Sunderland targets all feature.

Ivan Rakitic has confirmed he is leaving Sevilla for Barcelona this summer. It has previously been reported he would be on his way to Real Madrid, while Manchester United and Liverpool have been tentatively linked in the past.

But the Croatian, one of the stars of La Liga last term, has confirmed he will make the £16.1 million switch after the World Cup in Brazil this summer.

"I am very happy. It is a dream come true."

His arrival should coincide with the sale of Cesc Fabregas, most likely to Chelsea.

Jeremy Menez, who has been a transfer target for Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle in the past, is said to be undergoing a medical at AC Milan ahead of a move from Paris Saint-Germain.

The former AS Roma attacker has struggled to cement a place in the PSG side this season and is therefore on the move.

AC Milan, who have a new manager in Filippo Inzaghi, have reportedly agreed terms with the player and a deal is expected to be announced by the weekend. He joins his former team-mate and former Chelsea star Alex at the San Siro.

Toni Kroos has reportedly told Bayern Munich he will not sign a new deal with the club, and he wants a move to Real Madrid. The midfielder, who has been heavily linked with Manchester United in recent months, reportedly has his heart set on Los Blancos.

The Spanish paper in question, El Confidencial, claims Kroos' agent Volker Struth has met with Real representatives on three occasions in an attempt to speed up the process.

Ever Banega, a long term Premier League target, is said to want a move to Marseille. The new boss at l'OM is a fan of Banega, and Marcelo Bielsa is keen to bring him in from his Valencia nightmare.

Banega has spent the last few months on loan at Newell's Old Boys.
