A round up of transfer stories about Chelsea this morning.

The Express claims that Roma centre-back Mehdi Benatia will reject the chance to join Manchester City in favour of Chelsea.

The 27-year-old has been linked with several high profile moves away from the Serie A giants.

An offer of around the £25-30 million mark should be enough to land him but the paper suggests he’d prefer a move to Chelsea.

The Express also claims Jose Mourinho is confident of completing a £60 million double deal for two La Liga stars.

Mourinho is reportedly looking to push through deals for Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa and Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Chelsea will be looking to improve on a four point gap in second place when the season starts this August.

Chelsea youngster Islam Feruz looks set for a spell on loan in the Championship.

Cardiff, Derby, Reading and Brighton are among the clubs reportedly interested in doing a deal ahead of next season.

Feruz earned himself a new contract last season due to his performances for the youth team over the first half of the season.
