The Bluebirds were overall winners in a survey based on the quality of service at away matches.
The survey, which was based on more than 5,300 fan's opinions, took into account quality of pitch view, transport, safety and refreshments, with the Bluebirds scoring highest in the top-flight.
Cardiff were rated 8.05/10 overall for match-day experience, in a poll conducted by the Football Supporters' Federation.
The results also suggest Wales is the place to be if fans are seeking a quality away-day, with Swansea City coming second in the rankings. The Jacks, who are bitter rivals of vote winners Cardiff, were marked at 7.4, ahead of Hull City, Southampton and Arsenal.
Merseyside was among the least favoured away trips for fans, with both Everton and Liverpool occupying bottom-three places along with Crystal Palace.
The results also reflected the importance of factors that fans must consider when planning an away trip in the Premier League. Feedback showed that distance of travel is the most important element to consider at 44%, while the time of kick-off at 42.6% and price of ticket at 40.4% are also among the main factors.
Results also show the strong support from fans of our English and Welsh clubs, with the likelihood of winning a game marked at just 3.9% importance. Cardiff fans are one example of the commitment, as supporters watched them win just two away games all season.
The winners in the football league of the same poll were Wigan Athletic for the Championship, MK Dons for League One and Plymouth Argyle for League Two.
