England's football skills were put to one side as Manchester United's Danny Welbeck and Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge took to the dance floor in Rochina - one of Brazil's largest favelas in Rio de Janeiro.
The two players did not look out of sorts as they accustomed themselves to the culture of Brazil. Soaking up the samba-style atmosphere, the attacking pair got stuck into the dancing with the locals, showing off their moves.
It's a combination that not many England fans will be expecting against Italy on June 14. Sturridge is almost a certainty to lead the Thee Lions attack, with Wayne Rooney deployed in a deeper role behind the Liverpool striker.
The two wide attacking positions are up for grabs, as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Raheem Sterling, James Milner, Adam Lallana and Welbeck are all pushing for starts.
Looking at the players, it seems that there is a calmness and relaxed atmosphere in the camp as manager Roy Hodgson has given them freedom to explore the culture of Rio. England have also promised a five-figure sum to be donated to the Fravela sports complex where they visited.
However, come Saturday, all the England players will be focused on defeating Italy and kicking off their World Cup campaign in style.
