Balotelli ready to settle down - Wenger to make a move?

Arsenal transfer target Mario Balotelli is ready to settle down in life, which could interest Arsene Wenger.

Italian striker Mario Balotelli has announced that he’s getting married via his Instagram page.

The AC Milan superstar revealed that his girlfriend said yes when he asked ‘the most important question’ of his life.

The striker is currently away with Italy preparing for their first World Cup game against England this weekend, but the news is a sure fire sign that Balotelli is ready to settle down.

That could cause Arsene Wenger to sit up and pay greater attention to the immediate situation regarding the player’s future.

Balotelli has been publicly linked with several moves away from the San Siro with the Gunners one of the sides reportedly interested in making a move.

The main concern Wenger seems to have over the player is his behaviour and antics away from the pitch, which were demonstrated during his days at Manchester City.

Whether he was letting off fireworks in his own bathroom or throwing darts at youth players, he often hit the headlines for the wrong reasons, increasing the stress over former City boss Roberto Mancini.

Those antics could be a thing of the past with the striker now focused on getting married and ultimately developing a family over the next few years.

That puts him in a position where he won’t be able to repeat the previous behaviour which has often caused him to get into trouble, which there’s been no turning back from.

Inter Milan sold him, Manchester City sold him and AC Milan are reportedly ready to sell him.

There’s a pattern and it can’t be a coincidence that every major side he’s been at so far in his career has decided to cash in on him and let him become someone else’s problem.

Wenger needs a centre forward and if he was wary over making a move for Balotelli, he may now be a little more convinced that he’s the right sort of player for Arsenal now that he’s deciding to settle down and get married.
