Philipp Lahm (2018) en Thomas Müller (2019) verlengen contract bij Bayern München, meldt #Bild.— Sebastian Schramm (@sebasschra) June 10, 2014
Thomas Muller, signed until 2019, and Philipp Lahm, signed until 2018, have both effectively been taken off the market by Bayern Munich as they look to strengthen their side for a more substantial push for the German quadruple next season.
After Bayern Munich issued a 'hands off' statement to Manchester United and Chelsea for Thomas Muller just a few days ago, the news that the 24-year-old has penned a new contract will come as no great surprise.
The German international, who is expected to shine at the World Cup, will continue to develop his legacy at Bayern Munich after signing his new deal, whilst Lahm's new contract could see him into the twilight of his career.
The 30-year-old Bayern Munich captain signing a new deal, like Muller, will come as little surprise as he looks towards finishing his career at the German club.
Lahm's deal will reportedly take him into the summer of 2018, at which point, he will have been at the club for a staggering 23-years.
A time period which will undoubtedly put the full-back turned midfielder into the Bayern Munich hall of fame.
