Microsoft finally bring out PC drivers for the Xbox One controller

Xbox One Controller

The Xbox creators are delivering on their promises after months of keeping PC gamers waiting.

PC drivers are now available for Xbox One controllers allowing PC gamers to use Microsoft latest, greatest games controller with any PC game that already supports Xbox 360 gamepads.

“We know our fans have wanted PC compatibility,” wrote Microsoft’s Major Nelson, “and we know they wanted to be able to use the Xbox One controller with the same games and applications they have been playing with using the Xbox 360 controller.”

“We can’t wait for them to play their favorite PC games with what we consider the best controller ever made and we’re excited for fans to experience the improved D-pad, redesigned battery compartment, new comfortable design and offset analog sticks.”

The PC Xbox one controller support will come with a future Windows update, but if you don’t want to wait any longer you can download the drivers here.
