Two young Premier League players who have been involved in something of a soap opera time of late have been Adnan Januzaj and Thibaut Courtois.
The Manchester United attacker has been facing the decision of which national team to represent for the past year or so - finally deciding on Belgium after receiving a call up to Marc Wilmots' World Cup squad. He now shares a training pitch daily with Chelsea stopper Courtois. Or is that Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Courtois. His future remains one of the more up in the air situations this summer.
But the only thing up in the air involving the pair in training today was a superb half volley from the United player - which left Chelsea's prospect with egg on his face.
In a relaxed looking training session in front of schoolkids Januzaj picked the ball up just outside the area, got the bounce under control and fired a strike way out of the reach of giant Chelsea stopper Courtois.
1-0 United on this one then.
