The German star has been honoured in the capital city ahead of the World Cup.
Germany, as per usual, go into the World Cup with high hopes of big success. Jogi Low's side are brimming with talent and the likes of Thomas Muller, Philipp Lahm, Mario Gotze and co will be expected to take Germany to glory.
Another player of course under pressure to perform, after a spell of poor form for both club and country, is Mesut Ozil.
The £42.4 million signing from Real Madrid last September has struggled with fitness issues in 2014 and was recently criticised for a performance against Cameroon in which Germany drew 2-2.
But he is still one of the biggest stars in the team and certainly one of their most marketable players.
He has been a regular 'model' for adidas this summer s part of their ad campaigns for the World Cup. They are the official kit manufacturer for the German national team and also sponsor Mesut Ozil with his equipment.
And now he has been unveiled as a giant poster in the German capital Berlin, which Ozil has highlighted on his official Facebook page.
It truly is larger than life, and German fans will hope he brings that level of skill to Brazil - or else it could be a summer to forget for Die Mannschaaft.
