Cesc Fabregas would be best off with a return to Arsenal according to a poll on popular site Goal.com.
The Barcelona midfielder is being linked with exits from the Nou Camp on a daily basis and while Arsenal are believed to have ruled themselves, there are still some fans who believe an Emirates return is possible.
At the time of writing, 41.8% of fans who took part in the poll suggested Fabregas would be best going back to Arsenal over a move to any other club.
Coming in second is the side most likely to sign him, Chelsea, with 13.9% of the vote.
Some sources have even suggested that Chelsea have already done a deal for the midfielder and will offer him a wage of around £200,000 per week to link up with Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool are barely behind the Blues in fans’ perceptions with 13.2% of the vote and an Anfield transfer would be a real coup for Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers will be determined to sign world class players ahead of next season where his side will be looking to go one better in the Premier League title race.
Fabregas would also be a superb addition for the Reds in terms of their Champions League campaign because the Spaniard has plenty of experience in that competition.
Realistically, if Arsenal have truly ruled themselves out from a transfer, then one of two things can happen.
He’ll either be the centre of a big money deal to Chelsea or Manchester City or United or he’ll stay put at the Nou Camp and work hard under the guidance of Luis Enrique.
