Fernando Torres has paid tribute to the now departed Frank Lampard.

Frank Lampard's Chelsea exit was confirmed by the club this week, and the midfielder is preparing to make his next move.

Currently on international duty with England in Miami, Lampard is expected to move to the States permanently to sign with a MLS side.

chelsea's players and supporters are still adjusting to the thought of life without the midfielder, who has been with the club 13 years.

For stars like Fernando Torres who signed in 2011, they have never known any different.

Torres paid tribute to Lampard on his Instagram page last night, posting the above photo with the accompanying message:

"Thank you for everything Lamps. Top professional, top man , top player. It's been an honour play alongside you. #chelsealegend #respect"

Torres to a degree faces an uncertain future himself, who has been linked with Atletico and Inter Milan. If he does remain at Chelsea next year, he will surely realise it could be his last chance to make an impact with the Blues and improve his own legacy.
