The latest DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts can be purchased for Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles today. The pack contains four new multiplayer maps, the next episode for Extinction mode, and brand new Field Orders.
The four new multiplayer maps are as follows:
Departed: Set during the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival, this map is located in Mexico and comes with a brand new Field Order; completing the Field Order will unlock the ‘Death Mariachi’ killstreak, which turns enemy players into temporary friendly squad mates.
Pharaoh: In an abandoned archaeological site in Egypt, this multi-level map will see you having to dodge falling monuments and urns full of flesh-eating scarabs. The Field Order on this map will reward you with the ‘Blessing of Anubis, the half jackal/half human protector of the dead.’
Mutiny: This map takes place on a Caribbean island containing a pirate hideout. It includes ‘narrow and intertwining pathways,’ and another Field Order that rewards players with two ghost pirates that fight for them. Yarr!
Favela: ‘A refreshed version’ of the map from CoD: MW2, it now shows completed buildings where there once were construction sites, and others that are dilapidated. Another Field Order is here for players to complete; the reward is air support from a Y-8 Gunship.
The third episode in the Extinction storyline takes place in the underground fortress of the ‘Ancestors,’ who are the puppet-masters behind the Cryptid invasion. There are new hi-tech weapons, as well as equipment, to use too.
