It promises to be a big summer of spending for Inter who have been promised new arrivals by owner Erik Thohir.
The Nerazzurri need to strengthen after failing to launch the expected title chase last season and only just securing a Europa League place.
Inter have been repeatedly linked with Chelsea striker Fernando Torres on loan but it seems that they may go for a slightly less complicated target.
Indonesian investor Thohir is said to have been in constant talks with Goldman Sachs, Unicredit and other parties from Hong Kong and Singapore in order to find the finance to bring in new players.
It is being reported that Inter boss Walter Mazzarri is a fan of controversial Southampton outcast Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, who may be available for a bargain.
Osvaldo is unlikely to be given a second chance at Southampton where he head-butted teammate Jose Fonte during training and will be looking for another club in the summer.
Juventus have been tipped to try and secure a second loan spell for Osvaldo, but Inter may try and get there first and could be willing to offer a greater payment for the loan.
