A selection of the latest transfer news and more involving Liverpool Football Club this Tuesday morning.

Youngster Luis Alberto is to leave the club on loan after a disappointing first season at Liverpool where he failed to make any impact on the side.

The 21-year-old is set to join Malaga according to the Daily Mail, a move that has been reported in the Spanish press in the past few days.

The move to make Oussama Assaidi’s loan spell at Stoke City permanent has been put on hold according to the Stoke Sentinel.

Whilst Assaidi had an impressive season at the Britannia Stadium, he did have a problem with a knee injury, and the Potters are looking for a long-term cure for the problem before continuing to pursue the deal.

As has been widely reported last night and early this morning, transfer target Adam Lallana has told Southampton he would like to leave the club but has yet to submit a formal transfer request.

If he were to end up at Anfield he would end up linking up with one of his team-mates at Southampton, who has revealed he didn’t tell anyone about his dream move back to Merseyside, other than Reds captain Steven Gerrard.

He’s quoted in the Liverpool Echo, saying: “I pulled him to one side before it was announced publicly and told him what was going on in my life! I thought he might want to know. He was brilliant, he was made up for me and knows what it means to me. He said that I am going to love it here.”
