Playground Games and Sumo Digital are developing a sequel to the spin-off in the Forza series, for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Revealed on IGN, Forza Horizon 2 is the sequel to the the spin-off title Forza Horizon, released in 2012 on Xbox 360. They also report that the game will be set in Southern Europe, with a music festival being ‘the central event around which the game’s activities revolve.’
‘Extensive improvements and features’ will be shown throughout June in conjunction with IGN’s ‘IGN First’ program. A hands-on preview with the game is expected at some time today.
The game is being developed by Playground Studios for Xbox One using the Forza 5 engine, and Sumo Digital using the Forza 1 engine for Xbox 360.
