Arsenal transfer news: Wenger eyes deal for Bahebeck, plots £25m raid for Bony

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Arsenal.

The Mirror claims Arsene Wenger is eyeing up the free transfer of 21-year-old Jean-Christophe Bahebeck.

The PSG forward has shown remarkable talent during a short career in French football.

PSG are reportedly happy for him to leave the club but will ask for 50% of any fee should he be sold in the future.

The Daily Star claims Arsenal are planning a £25 million bid for Swansea City forward Wilfried Bony.

Bony was superb for the Swans last season in his first campaign in the English game.

He’s thought to be one of the forwards identified by Arsene Wenger to come into the team and work alongside current striker Olivier Giroud.

German champions Bayern Munich are believed to be interested in signing Aaron Ramsey from the Gunners.

The Metro claims that Pep Guardiola has been impressed by the Welshman’s progress and effectiveness in attack over the last 12 months.

However, considering his form and the fact he’s expressed no desire to leave, it’s very unlikely that Arsenal will do any deal for one of their best players.
