After scoring record day one sales for Ubisoft, Watch_Dogs effortlessly debuts at number one in the UK PS4 charts this week. Receiving favourable reviews for PS4 Watch_Dogs’ blend of hacking, open-world play and neat multiplayer options is so far living up to the hype and has led to the 17th biggest UK game launch in history.
Coming from the other end of the gaming rainbow Team17’s annelid battling game's first next gen outing, Worms Battlegrounds also debuts in the PS4 top twenty, making its entrance at number 18.
Following Watch_Dogs entry last week’s number one debut darling Wolfenstein: The New Order is still doing well at number 2 as is long-time chart-topper FIFA 14 which takes this week’s number three slot.
InFamous: Second Son, which had a brief climb back up the charts recently falls down two places to number 5 this week with Call of Duty Ghosts unmoved from number 4.
This week’s climbers are Killzone:Shadow Fall and Rayman Legends, which makes an impressive jump of eight places up to number 8. Lego games are also seeing a resurgance with Lego Marvel Super Heros climbing one place to 13, The Lego Movie Videogame gaining three places at number 16 and Lego The Hobbit holding onto its position last week at number 17.
