England international Rickie Lambert, 32, has completed his Liverpool deal, as confirmed by the club's official website earlier today, Monday, with a number of photographs released by the club in order to unveil their latest acquisition.
The player, who is believed to have cost the Anfield outfit £4 million (plus add-ons) from Southampton, has competed at every level of the football league pyramid and has now returned from to the club who schooled him as a teenage prospect in their academy.
A club who are also bossed by Brendan Rodgers, who has never shied from his admiration of the forward: "He's one of the most accomplished players I have seen."
Lambert attempted 2.8 shots per Premier League game last season, 103 overall, and scored with 13. He also assisted his Saints team-mates ten times.
