Manchester United starlet Andreas Pereira is preparing to make his first appearance for Brazil in an under-20 tournament this month.

Manchester United starlet Andreas Pereira may have been born in Belgium, but for now he will be turning out for Brazil as they take part in an under-20 tournament later this month.

The tournament will see the Brazilian team face their under-20 counterparts from China, USA and Germany.  And it will be the first time Pereira officially dons the famous yellow shirt for a match.

The 18-year-old has been making waves at United and is being tipped to follow in the footsteps of Adnan Januzaj.  In fact many are tipping him to come of age under new boss Louis van Gaal following a string of fine displays for United's youth and under-21 sides in the past.

Pereira announced that he would be joining up with Brazil last month, despite previously featuring at under-17 level for the country of his birth.

And now he has taken to Twitter to post a picture of himself in a Brazil shirt, along with the message, 'I am in China already with the national team!'

Now let's see what he can do before he heads back to United in the hope of joining James Wilson and Tom Lawrence in making his senior debut.
