A select round-up of transfer news relating to Manchester United

Inter Milan want to take Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez on loan according to the Daily Mail.

The temporary move would possibly be followed by a permanent £10million transfer.

Hernandez did not enjoy the best of campaigns under David Moyes, and there have been suggestions he will move on to seek more regular first-team football.

That said, with Louis van Gaal now in charge at United it remains to be seen how many chances the Mexican international will be given under the new regime.

With a contract at Old Trafford until the summer of 2016, there is no need for United to sell just yet. Although they are likely to get a better deal if they opt to part with the front-man when he still has two years left on his deal.

But if the latest report is true, Inter may want to see what Hernandez can do in Serie A before making the move permanent further down the line.

In other news, the Express claims it could be a straight fight between United and Chelsea for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

The Spanish international has long been linked with a return to England, but with Arsenal reportedly ruling themselves out of the running, Fabregas could be turning out for another club in England in due course.
