In the last 24 hours social media has been rife with speculation linking Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas with a move to the Premier League.
In the last hour, or so, Spanish football journalist Graham Hunter has had his say, suggesting the 27-year-old could be on the verge of agreeing a deal with Chelsea.
Following tweets by fellow journalist Guillem Balagu, concerning the future of Fabregas, Hunter suggested that Barcelona are ready to accept an offer from the Stamford Bridge outfit for the midfielder’s services.
Fabregas has been linked with a host of English top flight sides including Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and even former club Arsenal.
All teams aside from Chelsea and Liverpool have seemingly denied their interest in the Spaniard, leading many to question where he will be plying his trade next season.
The general consensus seems to indicate that Fabregas is being forced to leave the Nou Camp by the Catalan giants, as new manager Luis Enrique looks to revamp his squad throughout the summer window.
It is believed the he is available for around £30milllion; a price that would benefit Barcelona in their pursuit of Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke.
The only question that remains is whether Fabregas will be willing to play for Chelsea under Jose Mourinho next season?
